Position Overview

Step into a vital leadership role, responsible for the quarry's day-to-day operations.

You'll coordinate with the Quarry Superintendent and Maintenance Foreman to ensure smooth operations, quality control, and effective scheduling of maintenance.

Your expertise will drive production efficiency, uphold safety standards, and foster a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities


* Champion and maintain a safe workplace for yourself and your team members.


* Lead by example in adhering to company policies and all OSHA/MSHA regulations.


* Oversee daily maintenance and coordinate major repairs with the maintenance team.


* Communicate issues promptly to the Superintendent, Safety Manager, or HR Manager.


* Motivate, schedule, and supervise quarry personnel; manage time and attendance.


* Train team members in equipment operation, servicing, and minor repairs to build cross-functional expertise.


* Step in to assist with hands-on labor when needed, demonstrating commitment to collective success.


* Maintain reliable and regular attendance for consistent operations.


* Contribute to other duties as assigned, growing your skillset and value to the team.

Preferred Qualifications


* High school diploma or GED preferred.


* Two years of related quarry or industrial experience and/or training preferred.

Requirements


* Must be 18 years of age or older.


* Pass pre-employment physical, drug screening, and a criminal background check.


* Demonstrate strict adherence to safety policies and procedures as outlined in our Employee Handbook.
