McClure Post-Acute is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Maintenance Assistant to join our team.

The ideal candidate will help maintain a safe, clean, comfortable, and well-functioning environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities


* Assist with general building and facility maintenance


* Perform routine repairs and preventative maintenance


* Help maintain resident rooms, common areas, and facility grounds


* Troubleshoot and address basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical issues


* Assist with painting, drywall, carpentry, and other general repairs


* Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies


* Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders


* Help ensure the facility remains safe, clean, and in good working condition


* Follow all applicable safety procedures and facility policies


* Assist the Maintenance Director with projects and other duties as needed

Qualifications


* Previous maintenance, facilities, or repair experience preferred


* Skilled in basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs


* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills


* Reliable, organized, and able to work independently


* Good communication and teamwork skills


* Ability to prioritize tasks and respond to maintenance needs promptly


* Previous healthcare or skilled nursing facility experience is a plus
