Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Hardware Engineer to serve as the primary technical liaison across Engineering, Product Management, Manufacturing, Sales, Supply Chain, and Support organizations to drive the successful development, deployment, and lifecycle management of purpose-built HPE server solutions.

In this role, you will lead the definition, configuration, and ongoing management of server platforms and Bills of Material (BOMs) optimized for strategic ISV partner solutions and customer workloads.

Working across cross-functional teams, you will ensure configurations are technically validated, orderable, supportable, and aligned with product strategy, customer requirements, and business objectives.

The successful candidate will support new product introductions (NPI), platform roadmap planning, configuration governance, lifecycle management, sales enablement, and customer escalations.

This role requires a combination of strong server platform expertise, systems knowledge, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities


* Develop, maintain, and sustain purpose-built HPE server configurations and BOMs that optimize performance and interoperability with strategic ISV partner solutions.


* Review and approve BOM and configuration details for test plans, validation activities, and product releases.


* Track server platforms, options, and component lifecycles, and maintain reports identifying roadmap changes, lifecycle risks, and transition requirements.


* Support the development and ongoing maintenance of configuration menus, option structures, and business rules within HPE ordering, configuration, and quoting tools.


* Provide technical guidance and recommendations for field sales inquiries, customer-specific non-standard configurations, and special requests for large-deal opportunities.


* Support customer and field escalations by reproducing issues, validating configurations, and assisting with root cause investigations.
