The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia is seeking a Strategic Messaging Specialist.

You will be a senior communications specialist responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategic communications programs to elevate the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia’s reputation and visibility among target audiences.

You will report to the Senior Manager, Messaging.

The salary grade for this position is 15.

Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant's background, experience and skills, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Job Description:

Working with the teams across Strategic Communications, you will be accountable for leading the strategic development and implementation of communications programs that increase awareness of the Bank’s role in the public space and enhance the Bank’s reputation and visibility.

You develop strategic messaging plans and key messages in collaboration with the Senior Manager of Strategic Messaging and the Vice President of Strategic Communications.

You are responsible for liaising with groups across the organization to build awareness of institutional communications priorities and strategic goals and ensure consistency of messaging across internal and external platforms.

You develop communications plans and project timelines related to Bank research, engagement, and initiatives.

You are responsible for coordinating implementation of plans and execution of deliverables across communications units.

You maintain awareness of Federal Reserve System messaging and communications priorities and seek to ensure the Bank’s alignment with these and with the overall strategic goals and mission of the Federal Reserve.

You participate in development of key topical messaging sets, content calendars, and driving the overall content strategy for the institution.

You help to think of ways to maximize strategic use of content across all platforms.

You work with key stakeholders across Bank to develop content ideas and coordinate execution and messaging across platforms, both internal and external.

You serve as a strategic team member on a range of communications projects and as a writing and communications expert on specific Bank initiatives, with a particular expertise in writing about complex topics in plain and accessible language.
