Strategist, Marketing PMO | Strategist, Marketing Project Manager

The Strategist, Marketing PMO is responsible for leading the planning, prioritization, and execution of marketing and shared services initiatives across the organization.

This role serves as the operational backbone of the marketing function, overseeing project intake, resource management, portfolio governance, and delivery execution while ensuring alignment to business priorities and organizational goals.

As the leader of the Marketing PMO team, this individual manages a team of three Project Managers and partners closely with Integrated Marketing, Marketing Operations, Creative Services, Brand, Digital, Finance, Procurement, and business stakeholders to drive efficient execution, improve operational maturity, and enhance visibility into work across the organization.

The ideal candidate is a strategic operator who can balance high-level planning with execution excellence.

They are highly collaborative, data-driven, and experienced in building processes, leading teams, and driving accountability across complex, cross-functional initiatives.

PMO Leadership & Team Management


* Lead and develop a team of Project Managers responsible for coordinating marketing and shared services initiatives


* Establish team priorities, workload distribution, performance expectations, and professional development plans


* Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer service


* Provide coaching and guidance to project managers on project planning, stakeholder management, and execution best practices


* Build PMO capabilities, standards, and operating models that scale with organizational growth

Portfolio Management, Intake & Prioritization


* Own and lead the centralized intake process for marketing and shared services requests


* Partner with functional leaders to evaluate, prioritize, and sequence work based on business objectives, capacity, and strategic importance


* Ensure projects are properly scoped, documented, resourced, and aligned to organizational goals before work begins


* Establish governance processes for project intake, approval, prioritization, and execution


* Monitor portfolio health and proactively identify resource constraints, competing priorities, risks, and dependencies

Project Delivery & Operational Excellence


* Oversee the successful delivery of marketing initiatives across multiple teams and workstreams


* Drive project planning, milestone management, and execution discipline through standardized project management methodologies


* Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with stakeholder expectations


* Escalate and resolve project roadblocks while facilitating decision-making across stakeholders
