Moderno is currently looking for an experienced Machine Operator in Denver, Colorado.

The Machine Operator will be responsible for the completion of fabrication on our porcelain slabs.

From utilizing a new slab to incorporating raw material preparation to the finishing stages.

This role involves operating machinery, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the quality of the final product.

Key Responsibilities: Material Preparation: · Operation BACA machinery · Position items on the BACA machine · Source and inspect raw porcelain materials.

· Mix and prepare materials according to specific formulations and quality standards.

· Load and unload raw materials into production machinery.

Machine Operation: · Operate large machinery such as presses, grinders, and other machines to form, cut, and shape porcelain slabs.

· Monitor machine parameters and adjust as necessary to ensure product quality.

Quality Control: · Inspect porcelain slabs for defects, such as cracks, chips, or variations in color or texture.

· Remove and discard defective slabs or take corrective actions to repair minor defects.

Safety and Maintenance: · Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.

· Perform routine maintenance on machinery to keep them in optimal working condition.

· Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to supervisors.

Record Keeping: · Maintain production records, including materials used, production output, and quality control data.

· Document any issues or discrepancies during the production process.

Teamwork: · Collaborate with other team members, such as machine operators, quality control inspectors, and maintenance personnel, to achieve production goals and maintain product quality.

Requirements: · Must be eligible to work in the U.S and have a High school diploma or equivalent (technical training or certification in manufacturing is a plus).

· Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in porcelain or ceramic manufacturing.

· Knowledge of machinery operation and maintenance.

· Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality control.

· Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.

· Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

· Basic computer skills for recording production data.
