Control Manager - Vice President

As a Control Manager in Consumer & Community Banking (CCB), you join our Controls team, the firm's largest Line of Business.

The Control Manager will lead risk and control coverage for CCB Digital products, including new agentic platform and build out of governance framework.

This role will have direct reports.

The control manager partners with product, technology, data, legal, compliance, and risk stakeholders to assess risks throughout the solution lifecycle; define and evaluate controls for AI and Machine learning cases; and oversee the implementation, testing, and ongoing monitoring of controls supporting agentic deployments.

The Control Manager will provide support for a proactive risk and control culture by identifying opportunities to enhance and improve existing control framework.

The successful execution of responsibilities requires the ability to influence outcomes, partner, and effectively communicate across Consumer & Community Banking's control teams, business units, and support functions.

Job Responsibilities:


* Create a proactive risk and control culture that leverages proven evaluation strategies and sound change management protocols


* Review and analyze program related data (e.g., KRI/KPI) to support business-related programs and strategies


* Provide leadership support for the end-to-end execution of the Risk & Control Self-Assessment, including control breaks and resolutions, to reduce financial loss, regulatory exposure, and reputational risk


* Engage with control colleagues across the firm, business, operations management, legal, compliance, risk, audit, regulators and technology control functions


* Collaborate with technology to ensure technical controls supporting Digital processes are working effectively and captured in CORE appropriately, including applications mapped into Digital products.


* Influence business partners toward a proactive control culture using a risk-based approach that leverages proven evaluation methods and sound change management protocols


* Promote a sustainable and rigorous control environment that identifies, escalates, addresses, and mitigates risks in a timely manner

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:


* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required


* 7+ years of financial service experience in controls, audit, quality assurance, risk management, or compliance


* Proficient knowledge of control and risk management concepts with the ability to design, enhance, and evaluate operational risk frameworks
