Pay/Benefits at a Glance: Pay range is between $23 - $29.35 per hour.

The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

Fred Finch Youth & Family Services partners with individuals and communities to provide culturally responsive services that cultivate mental and physical resilience and wellness.

Fred Finch Specialized Wraparound is a family-centered, community-based program that provides highly individualized mental health and behavioral services for youth and families in San Diego & Imperial Counties (through San Diego Regional Center).

The program is designed to address behavioral challenges that impact a youth's ability to thrive in natural home environments and form healthy, lasting relationships.

Specialized Wraparound takes a strength-based, comprehensive approach, collaborating closely with families to address challenges related to caregiving and to foster sustainable safety, resiliency, and stability at home and in the community.

The program works with families to enhance their ability to implement mental health and behavioral strategies, offering: Modeling and Coaching: Guidance and practical support to help caregivers and youth achieve treatment goals.

Advocacy Skills Development: Assisting families in navigating systems, activating resources, and building long-term supports.

Enhanced Supports: Connecting families with academic, community-based, and natural supports to generalize success across multiple settings.

What You Will Do The Behavior Counselor works within the Wraparound philosophy to support behavior strategies and provide direct support behavioral intervention and rehab services to participants and caregivers referred to the Wraparound program.

Behavior Counselor will work with participants and caregivers in their residence or community; document services; collaborate with other social services, educational or mental health professionals; and actively participate in supervision.
