Summary A Forklift Driver/Material Handler is responsible for operating material handling equipment (forklift) to receive, store, and distribute material, parts, and supplies, using wireless RF scanning equipment to direct the disposition of materials.

Safely and efficiently operate material handling equipment (forklift) to move racks, containers, pallets, and crates Move, locate, relocate, load, unload, and stack material in assigned area Perform routine daily equipment inspections and escalate issues Gather finished orders for movement to the outbound shipping area Ensure product is labeled and free of damages, overages, and shortages Accurately complete all related paperwork Adhere to quality and customer service standards set forth by the company Observe and comply with all safety procedures and guidelines Ensure that materials loaded to be transported are properly stacked and secure Perform housekeeping tasks such as sweeping and removing scrap, pallets, cardboard, etc.
