Reimbursement Specialist - Commercial

Work Schedule :

This is a 1.0 FTE position.

Training is required between the hours of 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday.

Once fully trained, there is additional schedule flexibility that will be discussed in the interview.

Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Reimbursement Specialist to:

Manage the most complex commercial claims, working them through claim edit work queues

Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant submission of claims in accordance with payer guidelines, regulatory requirements, and internal quality standards

Analyze payer errors and rejections to identify root causes and prevent recurring issues

Qualifications:

No minimum education required

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Associate's Degree in Business, Finance, Health Information Management, or related field preferred

Work Experience:

2 years of experience in a healthcare revenue cycle or clinic operations role required

Epic experience preferred
Three years of experience in a healthcare revenue cycle, specific to area of expertise (I.e.

transplant, research, or client billing) preferred
