EHS intern

What will you do:


* Support the implementation and maintenance of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs across the facility.


* Participate in workplace inspections, and safety walks to identify hazards and improvement opportunities.


* Assist in incident reporting, investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action follow-up.


* Support employee safety training, awareness campaigns, and onboarding activities.


* Help maintain EHS documentation, records, permits, and compliance reports.


* Collaborate with production, maintenance, and warehouse teams to promote a strong safety culture.


* Participate in emergency preparedness activities, drills, and environmental initiatives.


* Analyze EHS data and prepare reports, metrics, and presentations for leadership review.

* Basic knowledge of occupational safety, environmental regulations, and risk management principles is a plus.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?


* Currently pursuing (active student) a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.


* Basic understanding of workplace safety principles, hazard identification, and risk assessment methodologies.


* Familiarity with environmental, health, and safety regulations and standards is preferred.


* Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.


* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


* English communication skills are preferred.


* Availability to work onsite and participate in plant-floor activities.


* Experience with data analysis and reporting.
