Position Title: Manager - Engineered Tooling Solutions

Job Description:

Tool Design of Moulds (Injection and Compression) for electrical, automotive applications

Collaborate with R&D, NPI/LCM, customers for feasbility studies and part refinement

Develop tooling concepts, tool layouts for single and multicavity tooling with and without Hot runner systems

Perform tool design calculations and develop designs and drafting in 3D CAD

Apply CAE for Polymer Rheology to Validate tool element reliability

Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure tool designs are feasible and cost-effective
Functional Competencies

Proven experience as a Mould Designer proficient in Injection mould design for single and multicavity HRS and Non HRS moulds for Engineering Plastics.

Experience in compression moulding will be added advantage.

Proficiency in CREO and CAE software for Moulds

Knowledge of Short Cycle time Mould design will be added advantage

In-depth knowledge of Moulding machines, moulded part production processes and experience with thermoplastic.

Experience with thermoset plastics will be added advantage.
