MRA (The Management Association) is seeking a Business Development Manager.

Ideally, we are looking for an experienced HR pro with a creative, problem-solving nature.

This business development position in a professional services organization provides its members with a broad range of HR services, including training, a 24/7 compliance hotline, daily content, surveys, compensation support, 84 special interest professional roundtables, and recruitment and retention services.

This flexible, hybrid role combines office-based work with virtual and in-person member interactions throughout your assigned territory, which includes Minneapolis and Saint Paul.

We are open to full-time, part-time, or on-demand arrangements, offering the flexibility to match your experience, availability, and career goals.

Qualifications: Required Education: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Sales, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in sales or business development.Technical Skills: Appropriate personal computer (PC) competence on various software programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Competencies: Ability to quickly learn and effectively communicate a wide range of product offerings.Other Requirements: The ability to travel within assigned territory to meet with members and prospects on-site.

Preferred Education: Association Management or Human Resource-related field.Experience: Inside or outside sales experience.Performance: Demonstrated success in achieving sales goals, with a strong focus on meeting activity targets and performance metrics.Technical Skills: Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems; experience with Salesforce.
