Position: Shipping Operator

Reports to: Shipping Supervisor

Pay: $21.00/hr

What you'll be contributing:



* Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.


* Coordinating truck deliveries


* Load customer trucks and arrange for delivery of product


* Generate bills of lading for truck loading


* Assist the Shipping Supervisor with day to day office activities and other special projects


* Monitor the load out of product to customers


* Daily reconciliation of shipping reports


* Physcially maintain and repair equipment and facilities through preventative maintenance and work in conjunction with the Maintenance and Electrical personnel


* Perform minor repairs to load out equipment to ensure proper loading


* Practice and observe that the terminal is in compliance with safety and environmental standards


* Perform duties to ensure proper appearance of facility, including, general cleanliness, landscaping and janitorial duties


* Additional duties as assigned by supervisor .

To succeed in this position, you will need:



* High school graduation or equivalent is required


* 1 year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education, skills, abilities, and experience.


* Ability to read, write and understand warning labels, instructions, signs, etc.

Willingness to learn, training will be provided


* Basic computer knowledge
