How You Will Make an Impact


* Install, maintain, and repair complex industrial electrical systems, equipment, and high-voltage wiring in full compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).


* Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and single-line diagrams to plan and execute precise installation layouts.


* Perform thorough troubleshooting and electrical testing using voltmeters and ohmmeters to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly.


* Apply advanced knowledge of conductor derating, motor controls, and industrial power distribution to optimize system performance.


* Guide, train, and mentor apprentice electricians on proper installation techniques, electrical theory, and jobsite safety protocols.


* Respond to emergency customer calls after hours when scheduled, providing prompt diagnostic repairs and restoring system functionality.

Required Qualifications & Experience


* Proven experience performing electrical installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance in industrial environments.


* Comprehensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and practical application of derating standards.


* Strong proficiency in operating hand tools, power tools, and specialized testing equipment like voltmeters and ohmmeters.


* Advanced blueprint, schematic, and electrical drawing reading capabilities.


* Demonstrated commitment to personal accountability, high ethical standards, and open, honest communication.


* Flexibility to participate in an after-hours emergency service rotation as needed.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience


* High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience


* 10 or more years of experience in commercial and industrial electrical trades.


* Previous experience mentoring apprentices or leading small field teams on industrial jobsites.
