Responsibilities Assist residents and families in accessing services to support independent livingPromote wellness activities and community engagementEducate residents and staff on available resourcesCoordinate with local service providers and agenciesMonitor service delivery to ensure quality and timelinessMaintain confidential resident files and service plansAdvocate for residents needs and rightsSupport volunteer programs and informal support networks Qualifications Bachelors degree in Social Work, Gerontology, Psychology, Public Health, or equivalent experienceKnowledge of community services and eligibility requirementsExperience working directly with older adults or individuals with disabilitiesStrong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skillsAbility to build trust and advocate effectivelyProfessional license Why Join VOAMI?
