Your Job

Molex is seeking a Head of Shared Capabilities to help transform how we develop, launch, and scale products across our global organization.

This role will lead enterprise-wide initiatives that improve the effectiveness of product development by connecting business priorities with digital capabilities, data, artificial intelligence, process improvement, and organizational effectiveness.

Working across the organization, you will identify opportunities to reduce complexity, improve decision-making, accelerate execution, and create measurable business value.

Success in this role requires more than strategy development.

The ideal candidate is a transformation leader who has successfully aligned stakeholders, influenced without formal authority, and delivered meaningful change across complex organizations.

Within the first 18 months, you will build trusted partnerships, identify high-impact improvement opportunities, establish alignment around a future-state vision, and drive implementation of capabilities that improve business performance across the product development lifecycle.

This position reports to the Vice President, Global Product Development and is based in Lisle, Illinois.

The role requires approximately 30-40% global travel.

The Shared Capabilities team partners across Global Product Development and the broader Molex organization to identify common needs, strengthen enterprise capabilities, and accelerate value creation.

The team brings together diverse perspectives and expertise to solve shared challenges, reduce unnecessary complexity, and enable sustainable transformation.

What You Will Do



* Establish and communicate the long-term vision, strategy, priorities, and measurable outcomes for Shared Capabilities.


* Lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for advancing scalable capabilities across Global Product Development.


* Partner with leaders across Product Development, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Operations, and Digital organizations to align priorities and accelerate enterprise value creation.


* Identify and prioritize opportunities to improve launch performance, quality, productivity, traceability, collaboration, and business outcomes.


* Develop governance, investment, and prioritization mechanisms that align resources with the opportunities expected to create the greatest value.


* Advance the responsible use of artificial intelligence, automation, analytics, data, and digital capabilities to improve decision-making, productivity, and operational effectiveness.
