Traffic Specialist

Position Summary: The Traffic Specialist is responsible for communicating and coordinating with supply chain partners, visitors, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.

The position involves up to 70% of the day communicating via phone, email, and in-person with the balance of the day ensuring the work is organized and all reporting tasks kept current.

Overtime is expected upon business needs.

What you will do in this role: Schedule carriers for efficient dock operations including dock door assignments.

Follow-up and reschedule as necessary to support getting our products to our customers.Monitor and release orders to the warehouse including product allocation.Maintain control of the orders/paperwork.Process all paperwork for inbound and outbound movements including preparing shipping documentation.Communicate within and outside the organization for the operation.Provide tracking and reporting as needed and requested.
