Jr. Systems Administrator

The Junior Systems Administratorwill play a vital role in managing intake and workflows for Application Packaging and Testing for Windows Client Operating Systems.

Job Duties and Responsibilities Be the requesters primary Point of Contact (POC) for all intake items for the duration from request to completion of deployment to production.Review and manage all departments intake requests including packaging, hardware, configuration policy, Group Policy, Internet browsers, and baselines.Assess that requests are complete and work with requester to complete or fix documentation as required.Assess that requests meet VA requirements and work with requester to clarify requirements not met.Manage the workflow process from intake to testing to deployment to the field including all required documentation.Field questions from packagers and testers and provide timely responses.Facilitate and participate in meetings to review requests and review Programs & Features (PAF) for discrepancies.Performs general administrative tasks to support project tracking and documentation.
