Highlands Oncology began in 1996 with three physicians and a desire to change the face of oncology care in our community.

Thad Beck knew that patients do better at home, in the community where they live and work, and where their support system is already in place.

The Cellular Therapy Coordinator serves as the primary clinical liaison and navigator for patients undergoing cellular therapy in the outpatient community oncology setting.

This role coordinates care across the continuum to include referral, eligibility evaluation, treatment planning, coordination of product collection and manufacturing, infusion, toxicity monitoring, and post-treatment follow-up.

The coordinator collaborates closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing, pharmacy, quality management, financialcounseling, research, and external apheresis and manufacturing centers ensuring safe, timely, and seamless patient care.

Job Duties / Responsibilities: Patient Coordination and Navigation Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and caregivers throughout the cellular therapy journey.

Coordinate referrals and facilitate timely evaluation and treatment initiation.

Provide education regarding cellular therapies, expected side effects, and treatment timelines.

Ensure informed consent and patient readiness are completed before treatment.

Coordinate appointments, diagnostics, laboratory studies, and consultations.

Facilitate communication among patients, providers, caregivers, and external institutions.
