Facilities Maintenance Manager

Job Overview: The Facilities Maintenance Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the maintenance and operations of our hospital and all facilities on the main campus and offsite locations.

Duties: Manage and oversee the daily operations of the facility, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.Provides routine and complex project leadership and coordination with involved parties and regulatory bodies.Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance of all equipment.Timely filing and securing of permits, licensing, certificates and requires reporting is essential.Lead a team of maintenance staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to promote professional growth.Responsible for effective communications at all levels.Interfaces and coordinates routinely with Safety, Environmental Services, Security, Emergency Management and other departments.

Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance management in a HOSPITAL SETTING IS PREFERRED.High School Diploma or GED required.Associated college education preferred.

Bachelors preferred.Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.Knowledge of building maintenance, construction and regulatory requirements; hands-on skills/knowledge of trades such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, etc.Excellent project management skills with a track record of successful project execution.The ability to read and understand building prints and project documents are required.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
