RN - Registered Nurse - Endoscopy

Job Duties

The Endoscopy RN provides primary nursing support to the physician and patient to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of the patient's condition.

 Provides patient education, promotes an understanding of the condition and adheres with the treatment plan.

 The Registered Clinic Nurse, functions in the spirit of teamwork, is accountable for the delivery of care utilizing skills learned in the clinic.

 Assists other team members on the unit.

This union role is full-time, 40 hours weekly; two (2) 12-hour shifts and two (2) 8-hour shifts with rotating start times between 6:00 a.m.

and 7:00 a.m.; potential for every other Sunday, plus on-call rotation, which will be discussed during the interview.

This role will cover Pre OP, Post OP, circulator, tech and scope processing.

Endoscopy experience is strongly preferred.

ACLS certification will be required within 6 months of hire.
