Ready to own the night?

At voco Gold Coast, we’re looking for a reliable, confident and guest-focused Casual Night Auditor to join our Front Office team.

If you enjoy working independently, have a great eye for detail and know how to deliver a warm welcome no matter the hour, this could be the perfect role for you.

As our Night Auditor, you’ll be an important part of keeping the hotel running smoothly overnight.

You’ll balance the day’s accounts, look after our late-night and early-morning guests, and ensure everything is ready for the team when a new day begins.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every night is different, but you’ll mostly be:


* Welcoming guests and managing late check-ins and early check-outs


* Processing room charges, credit and debit card payments and cash transactions accurately


* Responding to overnight guest enquiries, requests and phone calls


* Running the nightly audit through our property management system and ensuring accounts are balanced


* Preparing reports and completing end-of-day procedures


* Keeping the Front Office running smoothly and professionally throughout the night


* Working closely with other hotel departments to ensure our guests have a great experience

What we need from you

We’re looking for someone who is comfortable taking ownership of the hotel overnight and can provide the friendly, genuine service voco is known for.

You’ll ideally bring:


* Previous experience in Front Office, Night Audit or a similar hotel role


* Strong numerical skills and excellent attention to detail


* Experience handling cash and processing guest payments


* Confidence using computers and hotel property management systems (Opera)


* Strong verbal communication and listening skills


* A calm, professional approach when handling guest enquiries or unexpected situations


* A genuine passion for customer service and creating memorable guest experiences


* Knowledge of hotel operations and the Gold Coast area


* Flexibility and availability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and public holidays
