As a NDT Supervisor (Pipe Mill) you will be responsible for providing assistance to Client in the overall monitoring, surveillance and/or supervision of the facilities pipe activities and the procedures necessary in achieving the desired level of quality as it pertains to the project.

Location: Youngstown, OH

Anticipated Projection Duration: Starting ASAP to the end of 2026.

Working 12 hour shifts.

Hourly Pay Rate: $55.00

What you'll do:


* Minimum Level ASNT II certification + API 5L and API 5CT standards


* Participate in project meetings as needed


* Supervise inspectors on a day-to-day basis to enforce effective utilization and timely verification of the project quality objectives as needed


* Witness testing, perform verifications, and monitor project activities


* Assess/Audit contractor, subcontractor, and vendor activities to ensure effective execution of the quality assurance programs and plan


* Compile information relating to contractor, subcontractor, or vendor quality, which can be used to support changes in their quality assurance programs, plans and procedures


* Report the status of the contractors, subcontractors, or vendors overall quality assurance program to Client and its specific effectiveness on the project as it relates to non-destructive testing performed by the pipe manufacturer


* Provide coordination effort and assistance as requested by Client and Lead Pipe Mill Inspector


* Prepare and issue inspection report

What it takes to be successful in this role:


* Minimum Level ASNT II certification + API 5L and API 5CT standards


* Strong experience in NDT methods (UT, MT, PT, VT and related techniques)


* Previous experience within a pipe mill / tubular manufacturing environment


* Autonomous, proactive and able to work independently
