Extrusion Operator

We are currently seeking an Extrusion Operator to join the Clara City, MN team.

 

Pay: $22.00 - $31.00 USD hourly based on experience ($1.00/hr night differential) 

 

Shift: 1st Shift (Days) is 6:00AM - 6:00PM, 2nd Shift (Nights) is 6:00PM - 6:00AM 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


* Start- up, run, troubleshoot, shutdown and clean the extruder machine.


* Coordinate production runs with Supervisor to ensure orders are completed on time.


* Monitor and record the salt, caustic, temperature, density, and moisture levels of the product.


* Responsible for quality assurance of the product being processed.

Qualifications:


* Can do basic mathematics, is mechanically inclined and comfortable with hand tools.


* Previous food/animal feed extrusion experience preferred.


* Exposure in a manufacturing environment.


* Ability to read and interpret process instructions from manuals.

Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to skill set and depth of experience.
