Advanced Manufacturing Engineer

Your Job

Molex, LLC is seeking an Advanced Process Engineer to join our team in Hudson, WI.

In this role, you will be part of a small, highly experienced engineering team responsible for partnering with R&D and product development teams to define manufacturing strategies for new products and technologies.

You will evaluate manufacturability, identify and mitigate launch risks, and establish scalable manufacturing approaches that support successful commercialization.

In this role you'll be focused on developing, documenting, and improving manufacturing processes for both new and current products that will be built in our new Hudson WI plant, plus our current plants.

You will be expected to be the main process contact for specific projects/opportunities while collaborating with our NPI team and operators to build prototypes that meet customer requirements and ensure we can build to scale.

As the manufacturing engineering lead for assigned programs, you will collaborate across R&D, NPI, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain functions to transition products from development environments into manufacturing sites while ensuring readiness for stable, repeatable, and cost-effective production.

Your experience and engineering judgment will play a critical role in reducing launch risk and accelerating successful product introductions.

What You Will Do



* Partner with R&D and product development teams early in the design process to assess manufacturability and define manufacturing strategies for new products.


* Identify technical, operational, and supply chain risks and develop mitigation plans to improve product launch success.


* Lead manufacturing readiness activities from prototype builds through production launch.


* Define process flows, equipment requirements, quality controls, validation plans, and operator training strategies to support scalable manufacturing.


* Serve as the primary manufacturing engineering contact for assigned development and commercialization programs.


* Lead technology, product, and process transfers from R&D and development locations into NPI and production manufacturing sites, ensuring manufacturing readiness, capability, and risk mitigation throughout commercialization.


* Collaborate with Design Engineering, Product Management, Procurement, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to drive successful product launches.


* Support existing manufacturing processes through problem solving, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
