Talent Acquisition Partner

As our Talent Acquisition Partner, you will identify, engage, and acquire top talent for departments across Canada and the United States.

Roles may include, but are not limited to, NETA Technicians, Electrical Engineers, Electrical Technologists, Generator Maintenance Technicians, Power Systems Electricians, Electricians, Sales Specialists, Operational Managers, and Corporate professionals.

You will also develop and execute recruiting strategies based on best practices, diversify hiring strategies, enhance employer branding, coach and consult with hiring leaders, develop talent pipelines, and ensure an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience.

Lead the full-cycle recruitment process for assigned positions across the United States and Canada, including intake meetings, job descriptions/postings, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, reference checks, and offer management.

Partner with hiring leaders to understand current and future talent needs and develop effective recruitment strategies to support business objectives.

Effectively use the UKG HRIS/ATS to accurately track new and backfill requisitions, approvals, candidate activity, and hiring information to support reporting requirements.

Work with hiring leaders to ensure requisitions are submitted, approved, and accurately reflected in the ATS.

Develop, implement, and execute recruitment programs and strategies to attract top talent across North America.

Utilize a variety of sourcing methods, including LinkedIn, cold outreach, referrals, social media, networking, employee referrals, industry contacts, and other creative recruiting strategies.

Proactively identify and engage passive candidates and build qualified talent pipelines for current and anticipated hiring needs.

Build strong relationships with hiring leaders and serve as a trusted talent acquisition partner before, during, and after the recruitment process.

Coach and consult with hiring leaders on recruitment best practices, interview strategies, candidate assessment, and effective hiring approaches.

Collaborate with leaders to understand workforce forecasting and anticipated recruitment needs.

Build and maintain relationships with colleges, universities, technical schools, trade schools, and other educational institutions across the U.S.

and Canada to develop long-term talent pipelines.

Support and participate in college and school partnership programs, career fairs, campus recruiting, technical school events, veteran recruiting events, and other talent acquisition events.

Travel as needed throughout the United States and Canada to support recruiting events, school partnerships, career fairs, networking events, and other talent acquisition initiatives.

Develop and maintain relationships with schools and educational partners to identify and attract students, graduates, interns, apprentices, and early-career talent.
