In this position, you are responsible for the management of the Conformity Assessment (CA) activities within the home solution Europe division.

Your mission is to define and execute, in close collaboration with product owners, a certification/compliance assessment strategy, including internal due diligence as well as third party certification.

You leverage digitization to improve visibility on overall offer compliance assessment status.

You act as single point of contact on compliance assessment/certification topics.

You animate functionally the team of compliance assessment engineers reporting to the lab & compliance assessment chapter leader and you implement the right governance at division level to monitor the execution of the strategy.

Responsibilities

The job is multifaceted and includes the following responsibilities:


* Managing functionally the team of CA Experts in the EU HUB with a strong global connection


* Budget and HR Planning


* Consulting of the Divisions for international or segment-oriented CA


* Support the global CA strategy


* Build, Influence and Maintain the CA related Governance


* Coordination with Certification Bodies


* Collaboration with the standardization team


* Support of the Operations and GSC

Competencies

Engineer (M.Sc.) in science, technology, engineering or alternate education with at least 5 years of experiencein compliance assesment.

A fundamental knowledge about Business Administration and legal is a clear advantage.

Following competencies are expected:


* Leadership, autonomy, communication, influence


* Knowledge in product Compliance Assessment and strategies for regions, international markets and Segments


* Knowledge in application of Statutory Instruments and Standards (IEC, VDE, NEK, etc...)


* Knowledge about international marketing, especially market entry concepts


* English language fluent is mandatory
