As an Assistant Manager, Warehouse Operations, you are responsible for coordinating, directing, and optimizing warehouse operations to ensure efficient, safe, and accurate material handling across inbound, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, and outbound processes.

You lead warehouse teams through supervisors and frontline personnel, ensuring operational targets, service levels, and compliance standards are consistently achieved.

Your primary objective is to drive operational excellence by improving warehouse performance, inventory accuracy, productivity, and customer satisfaction while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and developing team capabilities.

Key Responsibilities


* Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, order preparation, shipping, and transportation coordination.


* Manage and prioritize warehouse resources to ensure service, quality, productivity, and cost objectives are met.


* Lead and coach supervisors and warehouse personnel to achieve operational and performance targets.


* Ensure inventory accuracy through effective stock management, cycle counts, reconciliation activities, and proper stock rotation practices.


* Monitor inbound and outbound logistics flows to support customer and business requirements.


* Ensure full compliance with safety, security, environmental, and operational standards.


* Analyze warehouse performance metrics and implement corrective actions to address operational gaps.


* Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, productivity, quality, and cost reduction.


* Resolve escalated operational issues impacting inventory, service levels, transportation, or customer satisfaction.


* Support workforce planning, talent development, succession planning, and performance management activities.


* Collaborate with transportation, procurement, manufacturing, planning, customer service, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless execution across the value chain.


* Contribute to supply chain risk mitigation and business continuity planning activities.
