Digital Energy Software is a core business of the Energy Management Business of Schneider Electric withing

the Software and Services Division, and focuses on the Operations Software platform, software-defined control systems, IoT solutions and analytics/AI enabled capabilities for best in class operation, optimization, management and control across Building, Power and Energy applications of multiple end-markets and verticals, from small-medium buildings up to Large and Mission-critical Buildings and Infrastructure.

Lead the next generation of intelligent, software-defined edge control platforms.

We are looking for an exceptional Embedded Software & Controls leader to lead the embedded software

organization responsible for the next generation of intelligent controllers, edge hardware, and software-defined control platforms.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of building automation, controls, and edge AI-bringing together embedded software, hardware, connectivity, controls, cloud, and AI into a new generation of intelligent products.

You will lead a global team of embedded software engineers and work closely with hardware, cloud, application software, product management, and architecture teams to deliver end-to-end products from concept through development, industrialization, scale, and sustain.

The ideal candidate is both a technologist and a leader: someone who has built and scaled embedded products, understands controls at a deep technical level, has managed multidisciplinary HW/FW teams, and knows how to turn ambitious technology concepts into reliable products deployed at scale.

What You Will Do

- Lead and grow the Embedded SW/control platform organization, developing a high-performing team

of embedded/FW engineers and technical leaders.

- Define the software architecture and technology roadmap for next-generation edge controllers and

software-defined hardware platforms.

- Partner closely with HW, controls, cloud, and application software teams to create robust end-to-end

system architectures.

- Drive product development from early architecture and prototyping through industrialization,

manufacturing scale-up, deployment, and sustain

- Establish strong engineering practices around architecture, development, CI/CD, automated testing,

cybersecurity, reliability, observability, and lifecycle management.

- Lead the evolution of embedded platforms across RTOS and Linux-based architectures, balancing

performance, determinism, security, maintainability, and scalability.

- Guide the development of connected control platforms using protocols and technologies such as

BACnet, Modbus, IP/Ethernet, RS-485, and modern wireless and IoT connectivity stacks.
