Registered Dental Assistant / Orthodontic Assistant

Are you an energetic, dependable Dental Assistant who enjoys orthodontics and working in a fast-paced environment? We are looking for a full-time Registered Dental Assistant / Orthodontic Assistant to join our team.

This position offers a four-day workweek and the opportunity to work closely with patients throughout their orthodontic treatment.

The ideal candidate is organized, flexible, team-oriented, and comfortable traveling one day each week to support our New Braunfels location.

Schedule

Full-Time - Approximately 34 Hours Per Week

7:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Four-day workweek with a rotating schedule:


* Monday-Thursday


* Tuesday-Friday

Schedule will be based on the rotating office schedule.

Responsibilities

The Orthodontic Assistant will work closely with the orthodontic team to provide efficient, high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities may include preparing treatment rooms, assisting during orthodontic procedures, taking necessary records and X-rays as permitted, sterilizing instruments, maintaining infection-control standards, educating patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care, documenting treatment, and helping the clinical team maintain an efficient patient flow.

Because this is a busy practice, candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent patient care and attention to detail.

Qualifications

Candidates must have an active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) credential.

Orthodontic experience is strongly preferred.

Candidates should also have excellent communication and organizational skills, be dependable and flexible, work well as part of a team, and be comfortable traveling to New Braunfels each Tuesday.

Bilingual skills are preferred but not required.
