Role Requirements:

The Production Engineering Co-op will support the design, development, improvement, and validation of manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures.

The role will contribute to daily production needs, defect reduction, productivity improvements, and product quality while working with global, cross-functional Operations, Product Development, and Quality Assurance teams.



* Support global process improvement, production-floor support, and production-transfer activities through recurring meeting coordination and attendance.


* Work in cross-functional teams that span global operations.


* Use Lean and Six Sigma tools to analyze process trends, communicate issues using a data-driven approach, and identify opportunities to improve process performance and yield.


* Support commercial production of new products, product changes, and enhancements in coordination with Operations, Product Development, and Quality Assurance.


* Support and enforce company goals, policies, and procedures, including Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Documentation Practices, FDA Quality System Regulation requirements, and applicable ISO standards.
