Senior Member Services Representative

As a Senior Member Services Representative (SMSR), you are the face of LAFCU.

Rooted in the credit union philosophy of people helping people of modest means, you'll work every day to support members through meaningful interactions and smart financial guidance.

You'll build lasting relationships, offer financial education, and ensure each member feels heard, respected, and supported through thoughtful and empathetic actions free from judgement.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:• Maintain Operational ExcellenceEnsure accuracy and efficiency in all daily responsibilities, including working with cash, completing member interactions, and interpreting required documentation.

You'll also assist with opening and closing the branch as needed, supporting a smooth and secure daily operation.• Lend with Integrity & Insight Process, review, and underwrite loan applications while looking for opportunities to say "yes." Ensure smart lending decisions by balancing member needs with the credit union's risk tolerance.• Offer Tailored Financial Solutions Markets LAFCU products and services to potential and current members by having a thorough knowledge of all products and services that align with members' goals and actively listening to understand when opportunities to cross sell LAFCU products are presented.• Lead Through Service When issues arise, you'll take the lead in finding thoughtful, mutually beneficial resolutions by taking ownership of member concerns from start to finish.

You'll work collaboratively with team members and across departments offering assistance without being asked.• Stay Sharp & Informed By keeping up with regulatory requirements and credit union policies, your knowledge helps our members assets to be protected and our service seamless.
