UW Health in northern Illinois is seeking an experienced Psychiatrist to join our respected behavioral health team and help shape the future of psychiatric care in the region.

Aspects of Your Role Include:
• Inpatient-focused role working with adult, child and adolescent psychiatric patients
• 42-bed inpatient psychiatric unit, including 26 adult beds and 16 child and adolescent beds
• Multidisciplinary team including LCSWs, LMFT, pharmacist and recreational therapists
• ED with dedicated psychiatry rooms and 24-hour crisis intervention team
• Academic appointment and teaching opportunities with the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford
• Strong collaboration with primary care and specialty providers throughout the SwedishAmerican Medical Group

Qualifications:
• MD or DO; Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Active Illinois medical license and DEA license or ability to obtain
