Maintenance Tech

* Essential Duties and Responsibilities


* Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical equipment and manufacturing machinery.


* Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and production equipment.


* Troubleshoot electrical circuits, motors, controls, sensors, and other electrical components.


* Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.


* Install, replace, and repair electrical components and equipment as needed.


* Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and assist with control system issues.


* Work with electrical panels, motor controls, VFDs, relays, contactors, sensors, and related components.


* Perform electrical testing using appropriate diagnostic equipment.


* Respond to equipment breakdowns and production maintenance needs in a timely manner.


* Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and improvements.


* Document completed maintenance work and communicate equipment issues to supervisors.


* Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and applicable electrical safety requirements.


* Maintain a clean and organized work area.


* Perform other maintenance duties as assigned.


* Required Qualifications


* High school diploma or GED preferred.


* 1+ year previous experience in industrial electrical maintenance or a related manufacturing environment.
