We are seeking a motivated and versatile Co-op student for our Software Test Engineer role at Abiomed, starting in January 2027.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and gain hands-on experience in software testing for medical devices, specifically using Pytest and other in-house tools for end-to-end testing.

This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about ensuring high-quality software and eager to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.

You'll work alongside a diverse team of engineers, gaining hands-on experience with the latest technologies while solving meaningful challenges that directly influence our company's goals.

Key Responsibilities:



* Test Automation: Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Pytest and others for end-to-end testing of medical device software



* Test Planning: Collaborate with developers and QA team members to understand application requirements and design comprehensive test plans.



* Bug Identification: Identify, document, and track software defects and issues, and work closely with the development team to resolve them.
