is seeking an experienced candidate for the position of Leasing Transition Coordinator in West Hartford, CT.

The Leasing Transition Coordinator will establish and maintain professional relationships with our clients, residents, staff, and vendors.

The ideal candidate will work in conjunction with the Property Manager and other office personnel in a mutually respectful, collaborative relationship.

This is a full-time position, 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday.

Essential Administrative Functions: Answer telephone and direct calls.Greet residents, vendors, and applicants as they arrive at the office.

Collect and distribute mail and messages.Filing, making copies.Type various memos.Process vendor invoices.Information Sheets: create/maintain vendor & resident lists.Create, close out and file resident work order requests, as needed.Provide administrative assistance to the Executive Team.Attend meetings and produce minutes as required.

Essential Leasing Functions: Maintain confidential information in resident files.

Maintain waitlists and call lists current.

Annual purge of wait lists.Manage and respond to all inquiries including website and marketing platforms.Conduct weekly tours.Show apartments to prospects for rentals as needed.Inspect apartments prior to move-ins and at move-outs.Prepare leases and move-in documents.Applicant screenings: Background and credit checks.Lead, coordinate and assist residents with internal and external moves as needed to accommodate construction.Assist other team members with projects, as needed.Complete special assignments at the direction of the Property Manager.

Qualifications: Proficient in the use of modern workplace technologies, including Microsoft 365 applications and AI-enabled productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot.

Utilizes AI-assisted tools to draft correspondence, summarize information, create reports, organize workflows, and enhance customer service while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance.
