Manager, Operations - IOR Summary The Operations Manager is responsible for collaboratively working with experienced field personnel to deliver Improved Oil Recovery (IOR) products and services for increased productivity and to improve customer relationships.

The Operations Manager is required to have thorough knowledge of IOR equipment and processes for use in oil and gas operations.

This position may also involve oversight of IOR treatments performed on oil wells, minor troubleshooting and maintenance of wells.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Utilize data and systems to ensure labor, equipment and inventory are managed effectively and appropriately and meet or exceed customer requirements.Identify potential issues and points of friction; work quickly and accurately to find solutions.Support and implement strategic processes and procedures which contribute to meeting margin expectations and productivity and quality goals.Inspire and motivate their team to perform at its best every day.

Champion an industry leading culture.Develop metrics that deliver accurate forecasting of labor, equipment, and inventory needs, utilizing available data.Drive organizational effectiveness through use of key performance indicators (KPI).Support, train, and coach their team in operations excellence to drive ongoing, continuous improvement of the Division.Create, lead, and execute on short, mid, and long-term plans with initiatives to ensure operational success of the Division.Communicate timely, effectively, and promptly with the appropriate internal personnel regarding issues that might affect customers or suppliers.Maintain a positive employee environment by ensuring sound management practices are implemented, including but not limited to training, coaching, recognition, and performance management.Ensure compliance with Companys safety policies, practices, and programs; maintain a clean, professional, and safe working environment.Plan and schedule preventative maintenance to ensure that Company equipment is working efficiently, properly, and safely.Maintain compliance with company standards, procedures, and all applicable local, state, and federal regulatory requirements.Other duties may be assigned.

Required Education, Qualifications & Experience High School diploma or equivalent required.

College degree preferred.10 or more years of oil & gas industry-related skills, knowledge, and experience; 15+ years preferred.Extensive operations experience, specifically in IOR field operations, inventory management and logistics.Highly effective written and oral communication skills for use with internal team and external customers; and ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization.Knowledge of various laws including but not limited to OSHA, DOT, EPA, etc.
