Yard Coordinator I

Primary Function

The Yard Coordinator I is responsible for loading and unloading equipment.

Essential Duties

Yard Equipment Movement and Handling


* Move machines within the yard to designated locations using established safety protocols


* Safely load and unload equipment in support of yard operations

Yard Housekeeping and Safety Maintenance


* Maintain daily gate logs and disburse transaction reports to appropriate personnel


* Enforce safe working practices and monitor yard activity for compliance with safety standards


* Maintain a clean and organized yard and surrounding work areas free of debris and hazards

Minimum Requirements

Education

High School diploma.

Work Experience


* 0-1+ years of machinery experience.

Physical


* Has physical ability to stoop, kneel, bend and climb up and down from equipment repeatedly and daily.


* Must be able to routinely lift and handle items up to 75 pounds.

Other


* PC exposure is preferred.
