79907 JOB SUMMARY: The General Maintenance Worker is responsible for maintaining assigned facilities, equipment, and grounds in safe, clean, and operational condition.

This position performs preventative maintenance, repairs, and facility improvements while ensuring minimal disruption to operations and a positive experience for staff, members, and visitors.

The General Maintenance Worker supports organizational goals by proactively identifying maintenance needs, completing work orders efficiently, and maintaining high facility standards.

Perform general maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment, and grounds, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting, and minor HVAC work.

Troubleshoot equipment and facility issues and implement timely and effective repairs.

Perform minor repairs and adjustments to doors, locks, cabinets, fixtures, and equipment.

Assist with installation, assembly, and relocation of furniture, fixtures, and equipment.

Maintain facility appearance and functionality to ensure a safe and professional environment.

Complete assigned work orders accurately and within established departmental timelines.

Prioritize work assignments based on urgency, operational impact, and supervisor direction.

Document all work performed in the maintenance tracking system, including labor, materials, and resolution details.

Communicate work order status, delays, or unresolved issues promptly to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.

Ensure preventative maintenance tasks are completed on schedule and properly documented.

Identify potential equipment failures and proactively address issues before they become major problems.

Report equipment nearing end-of-life or requiring replacement to Maintenance Supervisor.
