The Asset-Based Lending Portfolio Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing a portfolio of asset-based lending relationships, with a primary focus on credit quality, collateral monitoring, risk management, and client relationship support.

This role partners closely with Commercial Banking Relationship Managers, Credit, Treasury Management, and other business partners to deliver credit solutions that support client growth while maintaining sound portfolio performance.

The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor and risk manager, providing ongoing assessment of borrower performance, collateral adequacy, liquidity, and loan structure while supporting business development and relationship expansion efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Management & Credit Oversight


* Monitor borrower financial performance and credit quality on an ongoing basis.


* Analyze borrower financial statements, operating trends, cash flow, liquidity, and working capital performance.


* Evaluate collateral performance, including accounts receivable, inventory, equipment, and other pledged assets to ensure adequate collateral coverage.


* Monitor borrowing base certificates, covenant compliance, excess availability, and liquidity reporting.


* Identify emerging risks and proactively recommend appropriate risk mitigation strategies.


* Ensure accurate internal risk ratings and recommend changes based on borrower performance and market conditions.


* Maintain timely and accurate portfolio reviews, annual reviews, and credit administration requirements.

Credit Underwriting & Analysis


* Prepare detailed credit memoranda, risk assessments, and approval packages for new requests, renewals, amendments, and refinancing opportunities.
