The Opportunity

As a Carpentry Foreman at Waldmann Construction, you will lead custom residential projects that showcase top-tier craftsmanship and attention to detail.

You will guide crew members in the field, ensuring every project is delivered safely, on time, and to high-quality standards.

This role empowers you to make a tangible impact on home builds while working in a supportive team environment with deep Wisconsin roots.

How You Will Make an Impact


* Direct and coordinate daily field operations for custom residential construction projects to ensure work remains on schedule and within budget.


* Supervise, mentor, and hold job site crews accountable to high safety, quality, and craftsmanship standards.


* Review drawings and specifications thoroughly to verify constructability and prevent project roadblocks.


* Prepare, track, and maintain accurate project documentation, including cost forecasts and change orders.


* Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and inspectors to resolve field issues quickly.


* Monitor resource allocation on-site to maintain operational efficiency across all assigned tasks.

Required Qualifications & Experience


* Minimum of 5 years of hands-on project management and leadership experience in construction.


* Proven expertise in residential carpentry, custom framing, interior finishes, and building methods.


* Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex architectural drawings and specifications.


* Strong leadership and problem-solving skills with experience managing site safety and budgets.


* Possession of a valid driver's license and the physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience


* High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.


* Formal training or active certifications in OSHA safety guidelines, fall protection, or lift operations.
