* The Intern / Co-op term is from January to December, 2027.


* Full time requirement (40 hours per week).

Purpose:

The Co-Op Student will support continuous improvement initiatives and business projects within the assigned department.

Working under the guidance of a mentor, this role provides hands-on experience in engineering processes, project management, process optimization, and operational excellence while contributing to projects that improve efficiency, reduce costs, shorten cycle times, and enhance overall quality.

You will be responsible for:


* Supporting projects focused on improving process efficiency, productivity, quality, and cost reduction.


* Assisting with project execution using project management and continuous improvement methodologies such as FPX, Lean, and Six Sigma.


* Participating in testing, validation, and documentation activities related to products, processes, equipment, and raw materials.


* Maintaining technical and operational documentation, including specifications, reports, and project records.


* Analyzing data and preparing reports to communicate project progress and results.


* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions.


* Assisting in the development of concepts, designs, and approaches for new products, processes, or testing methods.
