Oak River Rehab, a skilled nursing facility in Anderson, California, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Infection Control Nurse to join our team full-time.

This vital role is responsible for overseeing infection prevention and control practices to ensure the health and safety of our residents, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities:


* Develop, implement, and monitor infection prevention and control programs.


* Conduct surveillance and track infection trends throughout the facility.


* Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility infection control regulations.


* Educate and train staff on infection prevention practices and protocols.


* Collaborate with healthcare providers, department managers, and regulatory agencies.


* Lead outbreak investigations and implement corrective actions when necessary.


* Maintain accurate documentation and reporting related to infection control activities.

Qualifications:


* Current California RN or LVN license required.


* Infection control experience in a skilled nursing or healthcare setting preferred.


* Knowledge of CDC, CMS, and public health guidelines.


* Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.


* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
