Lead Software Engineer

Work you'll do

As a Lead Software Engineer (Software Engineer III) on the AI & Engineering team, you will be responsible for:


* Design and build Python applications and PySpark workloads that process, transform, and validate data in AWS environments.


* Develop, test, and maintain extract, transform, and load (ETL) pipelines using AWS Glue and Amazon S3 to support data ingestion, reconciliation, and audit requirements.


* Provision and maintain AWS resources through AWS CloudFormation, including configurations for storage, identity and access management, compute, analytics, messaging, and workflow services.


* Integrate application programming interfaces (APIs), databases, and source systems into application and data-processing workflows.


* Perform code reviews, support deployment and release activities, troubleshoot production issues, and document technical designs and operational procedures.

Qualifications

Required:


* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience


* 7+ years' experience developing Python applications and PySpark workloads for distributed data processing.


* 5+ years' experience designing, building, or maintaining ETL data pipelines using AWS Glue, Amazon S3, and Structured Query Language (SQL).


* Experience provisioning AWS infrastructure using AWS CloudFormation.
