Infection Preventionist, RN

Position: RN Infection Preventionist

The ideal Registered Nurse candidate for this position should possess excellent time management, superior organization skills, and be an exceptional communicator.

Long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


* assisting with surveillance throughout the facility to promote infection prevention,


* ensuring adherence to infection control standards, policies, and procedures, and


* reviewing and monitoring reporting data regarding facility-acquired infections, treatments, and control measures.

Qualifications:


* Must have South Carolina RN


* Must have superior communication skills & be an effective leader


* Must be flexible, caring, compassionate, and a team player


* Prior experience in Infection Control preferred


* Prior experience in LTC/ SNF preferred
