Your Role: Head of Logistic Operations (m/w/d)

KVP Pharma + Veterinär Produkte GmbH, as part of the Elanco Animal Health company, has been producing around 175 different pharmaceutical products for more than 50 years.

We are currently hiring a Head of Logistics Operations (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible.

 

This is a two-year fixed-term position.

 

Your Responsibilities

 


* Managing the warehouse and shipping departments and ensuring that the flow of goods complies with GMP


* Overseeing operational logistics


* Responsible for SOP compliance, stock controls, inventory counts, and Veeva complaints


* Serving as Head of Manufacturing (Section 12 AMWHV) and the responsible person for wholesale (Section 52a AMG)


* Ensuring occupational safety and HSE compliance, as well as serving as the aviation security officer


* Budget planning, cost control, and coordination of capital projects

 

What You Need to Succeed

 


* Several years of professional and leadership experience in logistics, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry


* In-depth knowledge of GMP as well as the requirements of the AMWHV and AMG


* Strong leadership skills, the ability to motivate others, and a knack for processes


* A degree with a focus on logistics or supply chain management


* An independent, proactive work style and a strong focus on achieving goals


* Willingness to serve as an aviation security officer and representative to the Federal Aviation Authority (LBA)
