CNC Machine Operator

Job Summary Human Active Technology (HAT) is looking for a CNC Machine Operator / Machinist A,our highest-level machinist role for a skilled professional who can independently set up, operate and optimize both CNC and manual machining processes.

This is a hands-on role for someone who doesnt wait to be told what to do.

You see inefficiencies, fix them and keep production moving at a high level.

If you know your way around CNCs, lathes and mills and can make smart use of your time while the machine runs.

What Youll Do Based in our Easton, PA facility, the CNC Machine Operator / Machinist A will play a critical role in ensuring precision, efficiency and continuous improvement across our fabrication operations.

Your key responsibilities will include: Independently set up and operate CNC and manual machines (mills, lathes) with little to no prior instructionEdit programs, adjust offsets and perform conversational and G-code programming as neededDevelop and optimize machine setups for new and existing jobsPerformfirst-piece inspections and ensure parts meet tight tolerances and quality standardsTroubleshoot machining issues and make real-time adjustments to maintain production flowDesign and build fixtures and tooling to improve efficiency and consistencyMaximize productivity by managing time effectively while machines are runningMaintain tooling, including sharpening and preventative careAccurately complete job documentation within the ERP systemIdentify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and reduce wasteMentor and support junior machinists (B & C levels) to elevate team capabilityMaintain a clean, safe and organized work environmentParticipate in team communication and continuous improvement discussions (Gemba) What Were Looking For 7+ years of machining experience in a production environmentStrong experience with CNC machines, manual mills and lathesAbility to set up jobs from scratchnot just run pre-set programsWorking knowledge of G-code and conversational programmingExperience with HAAS machines (strongly preferred)Exposure to program editing and light programming (Mastercam a plus, not required)Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsProficiency with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.)Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsSelf-starter mindsetyou dont need someone looking over your shoulderAbility to think ahead, prioritize work and stay productive during machine cyclesSolid math and basic computer/ERP skillsTeam-oriented with a willingness to mentor others and share knowledge Who We Are HAT is a rapidly growing designer and manufacturer of monitor mounting solutions, height-adjustable tables and other ergonomic office products with a diverse global customer base.
