JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Under the direct supervision of the Practice Manager, the employee will perform a variety of clinical and clerical duties, including: Greeting patients and families in a professional, welcoming manner.

Taking vital signs and preparing patients for examination.

Obtaining and reviewing medical, social, surgical, medication, and allergy histories.

Performing in-office procedures such as urinalysis, pregnancy testing, strep screens, EKGs, and TB testing, and reporting results to providers.

Communicating testing information, procedures, and follow-up instructions clearly and professionally.

Accurately documenting all patient information in the medical record according to current guidelines.

Administering medications as prescribed by the provider.

Preparing and cleaning patient areas, setting up equipment, and ensuring proper room turnover after procedures.

Disposing of contaminated supplies and sterilizing medical instruments.

Assisting with scheduling, clerical tasks, and patient flow as needed.

Participating in additional training for code management to ensure readiness for emergency response.

Traveling between health park locations to provide coverage based on staffing needs
