Johnson & Johnson Surgical Vision is recruiting for a Purchasing Manager, located in Milpitas, California.

Role Overview:

The Purchasing Manager leads the daily execution and continuous improvement of purchasing operations for J&J Vision Surgical Equipment in Milpitas.

This people-leader role develops a high-performing buying team, strengthens supplier performance, and ensures materials are available to support reliable production while maintaining quality, compliance, cost, and inventory expectations.

The Impact You Will Have:

Your leadership will directly influence continuity of supply and operational performance.

By anticipating shortages, accelerating mitigation plans, improving supplier reliability, and strengthening purchasing controls, you will help protect production schedules and support the timely delivery of surgical technologies.

You will partner with global suppliers and cross-functional leaders to solve complex, high-impact supply challenges.

You will also shape team capability by setting clear priorities, coaching buyers, standardizing work, and using relevant indicators to turn risks into timely decisions and sustainable improvements.
